Welcome to the Department of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. We are delighted to share with you the activities of our dynamic department! We currently have an exciting training opportunity. A National Institute of Health T32 Training Grant.

We offer clinical services at two UW hospital outpatient clinics, one UWMF outpatient location as well as in the transplant and melanoma clinics located in the University hospital. We care for veterans at the Middleton VA, UW students in the University Health Service, and consult on the care of hospitalized patients at UW and Meriter hospitals as well as provide regional consultative services. We also offer comprehensive dermatopathology services including immunoperoxidase and molecular diagnostics.

Our innovative research programs in both clinical and basic science address a variety of problems focusing on targets and agents for cancer chemoprevention and treatment, molecular mechanisms of cancer development, and molecular diagnosis of skin diseases.

Our educational programs reach practicing physicians in the local community and across the region, train dermatology residents in two distinct programs, and introduce medical students to dermatology. We also offer a Mohs surgery fellowship.

Welcome to Dermatology! Please take a look around and do not hesitate to contact us.
