The Procedural Dermatology Fellowship / Mohs Surgery Program is an ACGME approved program under the direction of Dr. Stephen N. Snow , in the Department of Dermatology.  The program offers an exceptional opportunity to learn the method of Mohs micrographic surgery and other dermatologic procedures in Madison Wisconsin, one of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest cities in the Midwest.

Dr. Snow received his training in dermatology at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.  He completed a one-year fellowship from 1981 to 1982 with Frederic E. Mohs, B.Sc., M.D., the developer of what is now known world wide as the Mohs surgical procedure .  Fellowship recipients can take pride in the fact that they are continuing the enduring legacy of Dr. Mohs.

The Dermatologic / Mohs Surgery Clinic is located on the west side of Madison about four miles from the main UW hospital facility.  It is the regional center for the upper Midwest and evaluates patient referrals from Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and the entire state of Wisconsin.  Hotel accommodations are nearby and there is a regular shuttle service from the clinic to the main hospital.
